Joanne brings the buzz and creativity of a city salon to the beautiful Yorkshire market town of Howden. Joanne who trained at Vidal Sassoon Manchester, in-house trains all of the team to her very high standards.
As well as creative and innovative work, customer service and professionalism are very important to the business. Joanne now spends her time driving the business forward and doesn't take clients.

Eliska
CREATIVE DIRECTOR - (FREELANCE)
​
Eliska was one of Joanne's first apprentices in 1994 and has over 29 years experience. She has worked along side Joanne in training the rest of the upcoming apprentices/ members of the team to an outstanding standard. She has competed in Wella Trend Vision and has been a finalist in the competition.
Eliska is passionate about all aspects of hairdressing from cutting, colouring and styling. She likes to excite and inspire her clients and will create a style easy to maintain and most suited to you, that nobody else will have!

Rhiann
CREATIVE DIRECTOR - (FREELANCE)
​
Rhiann has worked at Joanne Mahoney’s for over 20 years, with also experience working over-sea’s. Specializing in traditional colour techniques & precision cutting and she is also our in house Fabriqhair specialist.
Rhiann is a Wella Trend Vision finalist and loves been a part of an amazing team. She attends and loves all our in house training, and after attending in house and external wedding training has now become a valued member of our wedding team. Rhiann along side Joanne has helped train our team and loves learning back from them which she says helps keeps her young.
Rhiann is available in the salon 4 days a week including 2 late nights and loves nothing more then been behind the salon chair aside from her two little girls, wine and cheese

Nikita M.C.E.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR & MASTER COLOUR EXPERT - (FREELANCE)

Nikita has been with the team for 16 years. In November 2018 she graduated from the industry's most prestigious colour course making her a Wella Colour Master expert. Aside from being one of the most in demand colourists, she also enjoys the other aspects of hairdressing.

Jamie-Lee
SENIOR STYLIST
​
Jamie-Lee is one of our senior stylists, she has been working in the hairdressing industry for 11 years now. She has a true passion for cutting, especially barbering. Jamie-Lee is a demon with her clippers and also has the ability to tackle challenging men's and women's hair cuts.
Jamie-Lee is currently on maternity leave.

Jess
CREATIVE DIRECTOR​
Jess is one of our creative directors here at Joanne Mahoney's and has had 13 + years experience. Jess is passionate and excitable about all aspects of hairdressing and loves a challenge, cut and colour wise. A personal favourite is balayage & root melts.
Jess is our wedding co-ordinator at the salon, and has been head of the bridal team since the very start of her career! She has even travelled over seas for wedding hair!
She has been on various courses over the years and has recently completed a Level 4 in hair and scalp science. If you are concerned about thinning hair Jess can help you out.

Annie M.C.E.
SENIOR STYLIST & WELLA COLOUR EXPERT

Annie has helped out with the team since she was 13 years old and has worked full time for 10 years, now being one of our senior stylists. Annie has completed the industries most prestigious programme at the Wella World Studio, London to become a Wella Color Expert.
​
She specialises in all aspects of colour showing a particular interest in creative colouring such as ombre/balayage/root stretch.
Annie is also a member of the wedding team where she has had amazing opportunities to travel abroad.

Tanicha
NEW TALENT
​
Tanicha is a our young talent Stylist at Joanne Mahoneys! Tanicha has successfully completed Joanne’s very own in house training and has been a part of the team for 6 years. Tanicha also is attending numerous Wella Education courses at the academy to further his salon education and experience, keeping her up to date with the newest, most innovative hair styles and techniques!
Tanicha enjoys each every aspect of the hairdressing industry and is extremely enthusiastic to learn any news skills.
